Sadly, William Dixon Schwartzwalder, Jr. (Bill) passed away on July 13th, 2022 with his family by his side, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
Bill was born on July 23rd, 1949 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio and graduated from Linden McKinley in 1967. Bill was a proud employee of AT&T for over 30 years. After retirement, Bill found joy in being an educational driving instructor at Schwartz driving school.
Bill is survived by Elise ‘Coopie’, his wife of 38 years, and children, Devon and Joseph; Brothers, Michael (Elaine), Randy, and Ronald (Tammy); Sisters, Linda (Phil) Pini, and Jody (Ken) Green; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his father William Sr, mother Margorie, brothers Dennis and Richard, and niece Kaley.
Anyone who knew Bill was touched by his kindness, humor, warm-heartedness, and contagious smile. He never knew a stranger and would always make everyone feel welcome. Bill will be sincerely missed by many.
Funeral services will be held at St Paul Church in Westerville on September 1st at 10:30am.
Burial will be at North Grove Cemetery in Celina, Ohio on September 2nd at 1pm.
