Twyla graduated from Willshire High School in 1960. She then attended the Fort Wayne Beauty Academy and worked for forty-plus years as a hairdresser in local beauty salons.
Twyla was very actively involved and enjoyed staying busy. She was a member of St. Paul’s Country Church in which she was a Sunday School Teacher, Bible School Teacher, and on the Board of Christian Education. She was also a member of the Chatt Farmer’s Picnic, actively involved with the blood mobile, the election board, and the Willshire Homemakers Club.
Staying busy and being involved was not only an interest of Twyla’s, but what she was known for.
