Stephen M. Burghy, Sr., 66, of St. Marys, Ohio, passed away on December 23, 2023 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. He was born August 16, 1957 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Lewis and Loretta (Williams) Burghy.
Stephen is survived by his fiancé, Debra Siefring, St. Marys; his children, Mandy Burghy, Oklahoma, Christianna (Nicholas) Miller, Huber Heights, Ohio and Stephen Burghy, Jr., Dayton, Ohio; ten grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and two sisters, Mary Burghy and Linda Burghy, both of Flint, Michigan.
Stephen was a 1976 graduate of Haslett High School in Haslett, Michigan. He retired after working for many years as a heavy equipment operator, mechanic, painter, welder and many other things.
He enjoyed living at EZ Campgrounds, traveling, watching old westerns and war movies and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the Burghy family.
