Sara Beiler, 68, of Celina, OH, died on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in Temple, TX. She was born September 14, 1948 in Hamilton, OH to the late Ray and Anna (Hunter) Schwartz. She married Joe Beiler on June 21, 1970, they were together for 46 wonderful years; he survives at the residence in Celina.
Other survivors include her children, Eric (Darilynn) Beiler, Austin, TX, Elizabeth (William) Meurer, Dexter, MI, and Ethan Beiler, Fort Worth, TX; a brother, Robert (Lisa) Schwartz, Washington Courthouse, OH; two sisters, Barbara (Steve) Adams, Lebanon, OH, and Susan (Jack) Martin, Trenton, OH; and six grandchildren, Anatalia, Josie, Liam, Drew, Eve, and Rebecca.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann Terry.
Sara was a 1966 graduate of Lebanon High School in Lebanon, OH and a 1970 graduate of The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, where she received her bachelor degree in nursing. She retired as a nurse in 2011 from the Mercer County Health Department after 27 years of service.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Celina, Iota Psi Sororiety, Shalom Circle at St. John Lutheran Church, The Ohio State Alumni Association, and the Miami Valley Rose Society. She served as a church liaison to Wernle Home and a poll worker with the Merced County Election board.
Calling is 4 – 8 pm Friday, April 7, 2017 at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Memorial Services will begin at 10:30 am, Saturday, April 8, 2017, at St. John Lutheran Church, Celina, with Rev. Jeff Gramza officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
