Robert C. Wisenborn, 79, Celina, OH, died November 10, 2013 in Mesa, Ariz.
He was born April 22, 1934 in Celina to Robert Downing Wisenborn and Vera Karola Wertz. On February 28, 1970 he married Karen Lammers, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Robin White and Shelbyan (Scott) Clyde of Van Wert and Lorna Cotterman, of Celina, six grandchildren, Seth Clyde, Salge Clyde, Zachary White, Ashley Stetler, Jamie Cotterman and Corey Norris; eight great grandchildren and a half-sister, Beverly Bayer, Mich., and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a sister and brother-in-law, Kody Erl (Ed) Bollenbacher.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1954 to 1957, receiving the Good Conduct medal and National Defense Service medal. He was a member of Celina’s, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the American Legion Post 210, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Eagles Lodge, Moose Lodge, Marine Corp League of Ft. Wayne.
And the Mercer County Harness Horsemen's Association.
Funeral services are 11:00 am Saturday at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Celina, and the Rev. Diana Mendelson officiating. Full military honors will be given by Celina’s American Legion Post 210 and VFW. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Visitation is Friday 4-8 pm at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Memorials may be given to the Mercer County Harness Horsemen’s Association or St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
