Richard D. Standiford JR., 61, of Celina, Ohio, passed away in the early morning of March 19, 2014 at his residence. He was born March 22, 1952 in Decatur, Indiana to the late Richard Standiford Sr. and Norma Jean (Davis) Standiford, who survives in Celina. On June 16, 1973 to Linda Lacy who survives in Celina. Also surviving are son: Richard (Elizabeth) Standiford III, Celina, Ohio; grandchildren: Kory and Stella Standiford; brother: Charles E. (Roxanne) Standiford, Marysville, Washington. Preceded in death by: grandchild: Gideon Michael Standiford. He was retired from New Idea, Huffy & Sims Brothers. He loved his grandchildren was an avid car lover and loved watching drag racing. Richard also loved working with his son doing mechanic work on cars. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina, Ohio. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8pm on Friday at the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina and 1 hour before the services Saturday at the Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Health Professionals.
