Richard L. Green, age 67, of Celina, Ohio, passed away at 7:23PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Mercer Health, Coldwater, Ohio. He was born on January 1, 1947 in Celina, Ohio to the late Paul & Wanda (Fenning) Green. On November 12, 1972 he married Patricia Homan, who survives. Also surviving are son: Neil Green, St. Marys, Ohio; daughters: Holly & Darin Neuenschwander, Berne, Indiana; Kelly & Frank Evers, Maria Stein, Ohio; Cristy & Nathan Hess, Minster, Ohio; Kimberly & Brent Geier, New Weston, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; sister: Nila Clementson, Oakwood, Ohio; sister-in-law: Rose Green, Berne, Indiana. Preceded in death by brother: Lyn Green. He graduated from Celina High School in 1965. Richard was a US Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam Era. He was retired from New Idea & Honda. Richard was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church of God. And was a member of the Celina VFW, Celina American Legion & Durbin Bean Bake. Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Church of God with Rev. Mark Wakeland, officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery.
