Raymond C Stone

Raymond C. Stone, 62, Celina, OH, passed away at St. Rita Medical Center, Lima, OH, on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 7:01 PM. He was born October 31, 1952 in Sidney, OH, the son of Ernest R. and Loretta T. (Bey) Stone Sr., both preceded him in death. On July 10, 1986 he married Linda J. Bertke; she survives at the residence in Celina.

He is survived by a son Michael J. Stone, Brookfield, OH; and a brother Ernest R. (Priscilla) Stone Jr., North Las Vegas, Nevada; a father in law, Lewis Bertke, New Bremen, OH.

He is preceded in death by his mother in law, Rita E. Bertke.

Ray was a 1970 graduate of Hardin - Houston High School. He worked for many years at Sidney Grain and Machine, Sidney, OH. His favorite hobbies included cars, wood working and many outdoor activities.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Wednesday January 14, 2015, in the Cisco Funeral Home of Celina. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Matt Overman officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
