Ralph Godwin, 91, Celina, Ohio, passed away at 11:55 am, December 27, 2013, at Naples Florida.
He was born November 12, 1922, in Bluffton Ind., to Clark Harvey and Gertrude Ira Huffman Godwin. On February 12, 1953 he married Rita Knapschaefer Godwin (deceased). Survivors include two brothers, Jim (Mary) Godwin, Mendon, Ohio; Dick (Mary) Godwin, Mendon, Ohio; two grandchildren Aaron Godwin, Celina, Ohio; Alton Godwin, Mendon, Ohio; Special Friend Elaine Tumbush.
Preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph Godwin, Clarence Godwin, Robert Godwin, Harry Godwin, one sister Violet Godwin.
Ralph was a Farmer, Entrepreneur and a pioneer in the sound of two way radio and television industry. He was a photo finish photographer and invented a photo finish camera. Ralph was the owner of Godwins Radio Service. He was a member of International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Celina American Legion, Celina VFW, WWII Veteran Army South Pacific.
Calling hours will be Friday, January 24, 2014 from 5-7pm at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, Ohio. Funeral service will be at 7:30pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.
Memorial Contribution can be made to Community Health Professionals Hospice.
