Ralph Bomholt entered into eternal rest at 1:12 p.m. December 31, 2013 at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
He was born on June 27, 1927 in Mercer Co., Ohio to the late Otto and Monica (Fortman) Bomholt. On October 27, 1949 he married Mildred Wendel (deceased).
Surviving are three sons, Frank (Sarah) Bomholt, Hamilton, Ohio;
Robert (Michelle) Bomholt, Jasper, In.; Doug Bomholt, Celina, Ohio; two daughters, Susan (Ralph) Weitzel, Celina, Ohio; Peggy (Doug) Hennessey; Brooklyn, Michigan; Eleven Grandchildren, Andy, Mike, Betsy, Ryan, Kevin, Keith, Meagen, Heather, Rachel, Ross, Caitlin; three great grandchildren, Liam, Lydia, Tony.
Preceded in death by sister Edna Penny.
He was retired owner- operator Frank Bomholt & Son; US Army Veteran WWII; Maria Stein Post 571 American Legion, Chickasaw VFW, Knights of Columbus 1800.
Ralph loved vacating with his family and attending sporting events of his grandchildren. Christmas was his favorite time of the year.
Funeral services are Saturday January 4, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina. Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling hours Friday 2-7 at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
