Pauline "Polly" Ayers, 82, Celina, died at 1:20 a.m. May 16, 2014, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 23, 1931, in Coldwater, to Paul and Freda Reusch Ballinger. On Feb. 15, 1951, she married Charles H. Ayers, who survives in Celina.
Other survivors are two sons, Charles D. Ayers Jr., Coldwater, and Craig M. (Robin) Ayers, Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Elise M. (William) Schwartz walder, Columbus, and Mary E. (Robert) Testoff, Highland, Md.; grandchildren, Devon Schwartzwalder, Joseph Schwartzwalder, Kara Ayers, Bret (Kim) Ayers, Allison Ayers, Nicole Ayers, Alexander Testoff, Thomas Testoff and Addison Testoff; and great-grandchildren, Emma Ayers, Paige Ayers, Mason Ayers and Lauren Rose Ayers.
Deceased is a daughter-in-law, Rosie Ayers.
She loved playing tennis, golf, bridge and fishing. She was a secretary at New Idea, Coldwater, and for the Mercer County Probate Court. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, president of the Ladies of the Elks and a 1949 graduate of Coldwater High School.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at IC Church, Celina, the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery at a later date.
Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
