Norma L. Keiser, 91, Celina and formerly of New Weston, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023, surrounded by her family at Trustewell Living at Miller Place in Celina.
She was born September 29, 1931, in North Star, Ohio to the late Walter and Alma (Davis) Ehlers. On April 14, 1951, she married Paul N. Keiser and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2014.
Survivors include five sons, Dennis Keiser, Rancho Margarita, Calif., David (Sally) Keiser, Versailles, Jim (Kathy) Keiser, Minster, Joseph Keiser, Celina, and Keith (Mary Wirrig) Keiser, Greenville; a daughter, Pam (Gary) Depweg, Osgood;; a sister, Darlene (Edward) Pohlman, Maria Stein; two brothers-in-law, Marvin (Wanda) Keiser, New Weston, and Harold (Arlene) Keiser, New Weston; five sisters-in-law, Rita Ehlers, North Star, Jean Keiser, New Weston, Sharon Apple, New Weston, Betty Schlarman, Coldwater and Doris Keiser, New Weston; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchild; and a special friend, Dave Nixon, Versailles.
Also preceding her in death are two daughters-in-law, Angela Keiser and Melinda Keiser; two sisters, Deloris Duncan Bridges and Wanda Jean Ehlers; two brother Larry and Robert Ehlers; a grandson Michael Kemper; four brothers-in-law Lester Keiser, Louis Keiser, Tom Stammen Jack Kaiser and Bill Apple and a sister-in-law, Wilma Stammen.
Norma was a 1949 graduate of Versailles High School in Versailles, Ohio. She was proud to be a homemaker and enjoyed helping Paul on the farm. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in North Star.
She loved visiting her family, especially her grandchildren and she will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am on Friday, September 22, 2023, at St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star, the Rev. Stephen Jones officiating, where the family will receive friends from 9:00 am – 10:00 am at church.
Burial with will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, North Star.
