Naomi Rubon April 9, 1986 – April 12, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Naomi Rubon, age 39, of Greenville, Ohio. Naomi passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on April 9, 1986, in the Marshall Islands, Naomi was the cherished daughter of the late Jim and Maryann (Tolwi) Rubon. She graduated high school in the Marshall Islands and later made her home in Greenville, where she built a life filled with love, faith, and creativity.

Naomi is survived by her beloved husband, Jeffery Kaious, and her daughter, Tayleen Baro, both of Greenville. She also leaves behind many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews who will forever hold her in their hearts.

A devoted member of Kings St. Marys Marshallese Church in St. Marys, Naomi’s faith and her love for her Marshallese heritage were central to her life. She was a gifted artist and designer who found joy in creating beautiful works of art. Known for her gentle spirit, kindness, and deep compassion, Naomi touched the lives of many. Her presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her, and her legacy of love and creativity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A time of visitation and remembrance will take place from 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 24, 2025, until 1:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Kings Celina Marshallese Church, 701 Holly Street, St. Marys, Ohio. Naomi will be laid to rest at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater following the service.

The Rubon and Kaious families extend their deepest gratitude for the love, support, and prayers shown during this difficult time.
