Moyra Nichole Danaher, born on April 19, 2022, in Lima, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love in Wapakoneta on October 1, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of Sean Danaher and Marya Danaher and a cherished sister to Evan Danaher.
Moyra was a true light in the lives of all who knew her and her story. Her sunshine smile and unwavering spirit inspired everyone who encountered her. Sunflowers were Moyra’s favorite and she perfectly embodied their resilience and radiance. She loved listening to rock music, and while feeling it proudly put up her rock horns, bringing joy to those around her. A devoted Miami Dolphins fan, she especially enjoyed watching games with her dad, celebrating every Waddle touchdown with him in big kisses, enthusiasm, and joy.
Moyra's adventurous spirit led her on many walks in her wagon to special places in nature and to exciting Reds games, where her light brightened every corner of the stands. Watching her friend CJ’s cooking show always brought the biggest smile to her heart. She loved visiting friends at the Legion, where she was always adored as family. She cherished every snuggle and changed the lives of so many.
Moyra was truly a miracle. Against all odds, she defied expectations and demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience throughout her life, smiling through it all. From the moment she entered the world, she showed everyone what it meant to be a warrior of light. Moyra's journey was one of love, courage, and inspiration, and her legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who remember we can all be “MoyraStrong”.
Moyra is preceded in death by her grandmother, Nichole Thiele and her great-grandparents.
Moyra lives on in her parents, Sean and Marya; her brother, Evan; many aunts and uncles; and her grandparents.
