Mary K. Houser, age 82, of Mendon, Ohio, passed away at 2:17pm on July 25, 2014 at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born on February 17, 1932 in Van Wert County, Ohio to the late Harley Washburn & Violet Wheeler Washburn. On June 30, 1951 she married William Houser who passed away on July 25, 2005. Mary is survived by sons: Robert E. & Donna M. Houser of Van Wert, Ohio, Stephen L. & Sandra L. Houser of Mendon, Ohio, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, brother: Don & Helen Washburn of St. Marys, Ohio, sisters: Shirley & Don Clement of Spencerville, Ohio, Doris & Orland Freewalt of Mendon, Ohio, son-in-law: Paul & Cathy Binkley of Spencerville, Ohio and sister-in-law: Tillie Washburn of St. Marys, Ohio. Preceded in death by: daughter: Patricia Binkley, 1 grandchild, and brother: James Washburn. Mary was retired from Mersman Tables. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 30th at the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, Ohio with Rev. Randy Christian, officiating. Burial will follow at the Mendon Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Tuesday, July 29th at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Community Health Professionals.
