Marsha Yaney

Marsha Yaney, age 68, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on December 14, 2020 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. Marsha was born in Sidney on April 14, 1952 to the late Robert and Alberta (Allen) Miller. She married Ronald Yaney on September 25, 1971 and he survives at the residence in Celina.

Other survivors include two sons, Ronald (Jen) Yaney Jr., Wapakoneta and Christopher (Nikki) Yaney, Celina; two brothers, Bob (Sachiko) Miller, Beavercreek and Tom (Cindy) Miller, Sidney; five sisters, Donna Engle, Sidney, Sue (Gene) Hoelscher, Anna, Nancy (Al) Wyandt, Sidney, Kathy (Mike) Garman, St. Marys and Linda Douglas, Sidney; a brother-in-law, Gary North, Sidney; six grandchildren, Angel (Devin) Peterson, Celina, Taylor Yaney, Indiana, Samantha Yaney, Celina, Lindsey Yaney, Lima, Austin Yaney, Celina and Amanda Yaney, Celina; and two great grandchildren, Scott and Elijah.

Also preceded in death by a son Scott Yaney; and three sisters, Karen North, Mary Henry, Judy (Larry) Hoelscher.

Marsha was a 1971 graduate of Sidney High School in Sidney. She worked for many years at Celina Manor as a dietary aide. She was a member of the Beaver Chapel Congregational Christian Church in Celina.

Attendees are required to follow social distancing and guidelines dictated by the Ohio Department of Health, due to the national concerns of COVID-19. Masks are required by attendees at visitation and funeral.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, with Pastor Tom Christen officiating; where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
