Lucy graduated from Bush High School in Kentucky; she worked a number of jobs throughout her career, but most recently Lucy worked as a sales associate.
Proudly, Lucy started many sewing groups in the areas in which she lived. More importantly, in those sewing groups, Lucy was able to donate thousands of quilts to anyone in need. Included into those thousands of quilts, Lucy focused on donating her quilts to veterans and local children’s homes to ensure anyone who needed a warm quilt, had one. Besides quilting, Lucy had a love for her family, her flower garden, and traveling all around the United States and other countries.
