Loa Jean (Fetters) Fox, 88 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 7:40 pm at Otterbein St. Marys Senior Life Center. She was born July 27, 1933 in Celina, Ohio to the late Mood T. and Gladys (Petrie) Fetters. On December 17, 1954 she married Jimmie Dwight Fox of Mendon, Ohio who preceded her in death in 1998.
Survivors include 4 sons, Dennis Fox of Muscatine, Iowa, Doug (Deb) Fox of Coldwater, Michigan, Randy Fox of Celina and Bruce (Rochelle) Fox of Wytheville, Virginia; a daughter, Denise (Franklin) Petersen of Celina; a brother, Robert (Mariam) Fetters of Mendon; a sister-in-law, Barbara (Tom) Armstrong of Mendon; 10 grandchildren, Kyle (Lindsey), Kari (Shane), Laura (Kellie), Peter (Kourtney), Sarah, Christopher (Teri), Travis (Morgan), Wyatt, Rhianna, and Leigh; 11 Great-Grandchildren Emma, Michaela, Hudson, Hayden, Teagan, Kinnick, Braxton, Noah, Alivia, Charlotte and Hayden.
Preceding her in death in addition to her husband and parents is a sister, Geraldine (Larry) Rice of Dayton; a sister-in-law Lois (Delbert) Nolan of Clair, Michigan; 7 brothers-in-law Paul (Lois) Fox of Celina, Glenn (Cathy) Fox of Celina, Lewis (Kathleen) Fox of Mendon, Calvin (Betty) Fox of Mendon, Wayne (Elaine) Fox of Arcanum, Charles (Janelle) Fox of Maumee, Gary (Patty) Fox of Fairfield
Loa Jean was a 1952 graduate of Celina High School. Upon graduation she worked for a local dentist before marrying Jimmie and becoming a housewife/stay at home mom. She was a member of Grace Missionary Church and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her grandchildren while still able to do so.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 10:00-11:00 am at
Cisco Funeral Homes, Celina followed immediately by funeral services beginning at 11:00 am officiated by Rev. Steven Howell.
Interment will follow at Swamp Cemetery, Celina.
