LaVerne Karl "Buster" Ley
LaVerne Karl "Buster" Ley entered into rest at 7;29 am February 5, 2014 at his residence.
He was born October 10, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio to Laverne Ley and Delores Ley Wagner (deceased). Raised by his Grandmother Mary Shrodes "Mommer".
Surviving are one son, Corey (Lindsay) Ley, Celina, Ohio; three daughters, Peggy (Tony) Carr, Montezuma, Ohio; Mary (Nathan) Cassada, Celina, Ohio; April Hoening, Fort Recovery, Ohio; four brothers, Bruce Ley, Celina, Ohio; Charles Batner, Bradford, Ohio; Daryl (Tina) Batner, Ludlow Falls, Ohio; five sisters, Cheryl (Brian) Fogel, Montezuma, Ohio; Kim (Gene) West, Brookville, Ohio; Karen (Eric) Tucker, Germantown, Ohio; Karla (Terry) Hollenbaugh, Dayton, Ohio; Kristy (Randy) Cambell, Riverside, Ohio; 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren; Ex wife Roberta Gammon, Rockford, Ohio.
LaVerne was a 1969 Graduate of Celina High, was a member of the Celina Moose Lodge. He was retired from Huffy's after 20 years of service and was Brick Mason. He was a avid gun collector and he was a proud owner of two cats Lucky and Tiger. He treated them as if they were is kids.
Funeral services are 10:30 am, Monday February 10, 2014 at Celina Baptist Temple, Celina, Ohio, with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. The burial will be at a later date.
There will be a gathering of friends after the service at the church.
