He was born July 25, 1935, to Dale VanTilburg and Opal Boise VanTilburg Stephenson, who are deceased. On August 4, 1961 he married Nancie Truss, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Darrell (Mindy) VanTilburg, Lebanon, Indiana; Dirk Edward (Tatiana) VanTilburg, Carmel, Indiana; brother Bruce (Marilyn) VanTilburg, Ft. Wayne, Indiana; sister Janice Garwick, Celina, Ohio; four grandchildren Alexandria, Benjamin, Nicholas, Alex.
Proceeded in death by Step father Harold Stephenson; two brothers Ronald VanTilburg, Keith VanTilburg; sister in law Rebecca VanTilburg; brother in law Richard Garwick.
He Graduated from Celina High School Class of 1953 and Graduated from University of Texas. Larry was a US Army Veteran, Korea. He was retired Tax Administrator, Celina Financial Group; a member of Celina First Church of God.
Funeral service are 2pm. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, Ohio. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery.
