Karen Marie (Verpooten) Fletcher, age 76, of St. Marys, Ohio passed away on February 10, 2020 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, Ohio. She was born on July 21, 1943 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Leonard “Curly” and Delores (Girard) Verpooten.
Karen is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 29 years, Glenn Fletcher Sr.; four children, Wendy Edwards, Suzanne Isaacs, Glenn Fletcher Jr. and Steve Fletcher; her brother, Gary Verpooten; She was a loving grandma to seven grandchildren, Jessica Winter, Ashley Edwards, Brandi Edwards, Shane Isaacs, Greg Isaacs, Jeremiah Fletcher and Travis Fletcher; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Lee Verpooten.
Karen was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Cambridge City, Indiana. She worked various jobs throughout her life and most recently she enjoyed being a bartender.
On behalf of her husband and family, we would to thank all the family, friends and everyone that knew and loved her for all the wonderful memories over the years.
A wake will be held from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Fletcher residence in St. Marys.
