Joyce E. Ayers

Joyce E. Ayers, age 79, of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at her daughter's home in Mendon on February 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 27, 1945 in Decatur to the late, Frank and Glades (Rhynard) Bailey. 

Survivors include, Tonia Benge, Decatur, Jeff Perry, Rockford, Darien Perry, Louisville, Kentucky, Kimberly Perry, Celina and Beverly (Brian Schwartz) Perry, Mendon; two sisters, Kathleen (Brady) McCoy, St. Louis, Missouri; numerous grand and great grandchildren. 

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Don Ayers; a son, Charles Rex Colbert; and siblings, Richard Bailey, Wilbur Bailey, Edna Mae Bleeke, Esther Giesler and Janice Barr. 

She retired after working for 19 years of service at Celina Manor. She enjoyed playing on her phone, board games, watching tv, and spending time with her family. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina with Rev. Matt Overman officiating, where the family will receive friend from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm prior to the services at the funeral home.
