Joshua “Josh” D. Highley, age 40, of Coldwater, passed away on June 30, 2022 from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born August 19, 1981 in St. Marys to David Highley and Brenda (Behm) Weitz.
Josh is survived by his loving family; parents: David (Judy) Highley, St. Marys and Brenda (Jim) Weitz, Celina; siblings: Jimmy (Lori Harrod) Weitz, Ohio City, Justin (Kiley) Weitz, St. Henry, John (Amy) Shinabery, St. Marys, Jennifer Hoelscher, Celina and Tyler (Chrissy Hall) Weitz, Celina; maternal grandmother: Nancy Behm, Celina; paternal grand mother: Joanne Highley, St. Marys; stepdaughter: Summer Butler, Celina; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother: Chad Rammel; maternal grandfather: Ed Behm; paternal grandfather, Paul Highley; and his step grandparents: Alonzo (Linda) Brummette.
Josh was a 2000 graduate of Celina High School. He drove for the Amish transporting the Javon R. Girod Crew.
Josh, better known as “Frog” loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed kayaking, amusement parks, county fairs and watching movies. Josh also loved his faithful dogs, Toby and Dusty.
He was taken from this Earth at a young age and will be truly missed by all.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Homes in Celina.
