Jennifer E. Spencer, of St. Marys, passed away at the age of 53 on June 23, 2024, at 3:50 pm at the OSU Wexner Medical Center, with her family by her side. Jennifer was born in St. Marys on September 2, 1970.
On September 18, 1993, she married Randy Spencer, who survives at their residence in St. Marys. Together, they have three loving children, Alexandria (Nick Mendenhall) Spencer, of Westerville, OH, William Spencer, of St. Marys, and Henry Spencer, of St. Marys. She is also survived by her father, David Stroh, of New Knoxville, her siblings, Mike (Robin) Stroh, of St. Marys, Jeff (Cortney) Stroh, of Celina, Matt Stroh, of Wapakoneta, a special aunt, Mary (Pat) Moran, of St. Marys, and many nieces and nephews.
Jennifer graduated from St. Marys Memorial High School in 1988 and received her bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Toledo. She worked as an office manager at Industrial Management and Engineering Group in St. Marys.
Although she was slightly embarrassed, she had a love for 70’s soft rock music and enjoyed cats and dogs more than most people. Jennifer was an avid book reader, but most important to her was her family. Jennifer adored attending her kids' sporting events, not missing any of their games, watching them play their sports, and spending time with her entire family; her family meant the world to her.
Visitation will be held at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys on Friday, June 28th from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 pm with Rev. Tim Benjamin officiating.
Interment will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Auglaize County Cancer Society in memory of Jennifer.
