Jeffson John

Jeffson John, age 53, of Rockford, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 15, 2024. Born on December 26, 1970, in the Marshall Islands, he was the beloved son of the late Ishmael and Eoner (Lani) John.

Jeffson is survived by his cherished children: Jeffson (Moria) John Jr. of Hawaii, Ataline (Ellis) Zackraias of Rockford, and Hercest John of Hawaii. He also leaves behind seven adoring grandchildren: Nickson, BJ, Tira John, and Ely, EJ, Aleelli, and Annaya Zackraias, as well as fifteen siblings who will miss him dearly.

A proud high school graduate, Jeffson dedicated much of his life to farming. He was known for his hard work, vibrant spirit, and love for his family. He enjoyed dancing and singing, bringing joy and warmth to all who knew him. His passion for cooking was a testament to his love for family gatherings, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of sharing in his life.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects starting at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 25, and continuing until 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 26, at the First Assembly of God Church in Celina. A burial service will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
