Jeanne L. Boroff, 87, of St. Marys, passed away at Lima Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 3:22 am. She was born March 10, 1929 in Mercer County, Ohio to the late Vintson and Esther (Schroyer) Rabe. Jeanne married Pleasant LaVerl “Verly” Boroff on December 13, 1968, they were together for 48 years and he survives at the residence in St. Marys.
Other survivors include a sister-in-law, Lois Roettger, St. Marys; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brother, Ralph and Merle Rabe; and a sister, Mary Motague.
Jeanne was a 1947 graduate of Celina Senior High School. She retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber after 38 years of service.
She was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafting, camping and spend winters in Florida for 28 years.
Jeanne was a devoted wife and will always be viewed as an angel in Verly’s eyes.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm, Saturday, August 13, 2016 in Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina, Ohio.
