James P. “Buffalo” Steinbrunner, of Celina, passed away at Mercer Health, Coldwater, OH on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 9:02 am. He was born March 29, 1946 in New Corydon, IN to Henry S. and Mary (Huey) Steinbrunner, both preceded him in death. Jim married Pat J. Delzeith on October 25, 2000 and she survives in Celina.
Other survivors include a daughter, Nikki (David) Hole, Celina; three sons, Charlie (Robin) Steinbrunner, Celina, John Harter, Celina, and Brian (Kim) Harter, Wapakoneta; two brothers, Melvin (Martha) Steinbrunner, Celina, and Gary Steinbrunner, Celina; a sister, Connie Steinbrunner, Celina; five brother-in-laws, Bob (Mary) Delzeith, St. Henry, Ron Jutte, Ft. Recovery, Bill (Theresa) Delzeith, St. Henry, Chris (Sandy) Delzeith, St. Henry, and Tom (Shauna) Delzeith, Brookville, OH; three sister-in-laws, Beth Geise, Lima, Cindy (Bill) Barhorst, Ft. Loramie, and Joan (Shane) Hultz, Albany, IN; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by a sister, Sally Guntle; and a sister-in-law, Pam Jutte.
Jim was a 1964 graduate of Celina Senior High School. He had worked at Kessler Builders for 25 plus years. He spent the last 20 years working for the City of Celina in the Street Department.
Jim was a devoted husband and father, a fun loving grandpa, and had many friends. He will be missed by all.
He was a member of the Celina VFW 5713. His hobbies included visiting casinos, sports, coaching, watching NASCAR, and a strong love for baseball.
Visitation hours will be from 2-7 pm, Sunday, January 17, 2016 in the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am on Monday, January 18, 2016 in the St. Paul's United Methodist Church with Rev. Diane Mendelson officiating; where the family will receive friends from 9:30 am - 10:30 am prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Garden, Celina, OH.
