James L. Leiss

James L. Leiss, age 71, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on February 28, 2022 at his residence. He was born June 16, 1950 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Herbie C. and Helen (Watkins) Leiss.

Jim is survived by two brothers, Jerry (Peggy) Leiss, Celina and Jack (Judy) Burnside, Springboro, Ohio; a sister, Karla (Richard) Newman, Piqua, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

He was a 1968 graduate of Indiana Lake High School in Lewistown, Ohio. He worked for many years at Huffy Bicycle Company in Celina and most recently at Federated Auto Parts also in Celina.

Jim was a huge football fan, having played in high school. He loved music and enjoyed playing the drums in several bands. He also had a love for the outdoors and motorcycles.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the Leiss family.
