Jackie "Jack" Lee Temple

Jackie “Jack” Lee Temple, age 83, of Wapakoneta, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 12:11 pm at Wapakoneta Manor. He was born March 8, 1937 in New Bremen, Ohio to the late Robert and Rosie (McDermitt) Temple. He married Linda (Petroff) Temple on May 22, 1955 and she survives at the residence in Wapakoneta.

Other survivors include his children, Jackie Temple, Wapakoneta, Rosie Kuhr, Celina, Cindy Elliott, Jackson Center, Ohio, Cheryl Yates, Fort Loramie, Ohio, John Fullerton, Piqua, Ohio, Julie Baysden, Indiana, Jacquline Temple, Kentucky and Jeremy Temple, Kentucky; three brothers, Jerry (Connie) Temple, New Bremen, Gary Temple, St. Marys and Terry (Donna) Temple, Celina; 25 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Jack was also preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Ann Cornwell and Sharon Temple; and two brother, Bobbie Temple and Richard Temple.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Koneta Rubber in Wapakoneta after 25 plus years of service.

Due to restrictions of the Covid-19 virus we will be following the guidelines set by the Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s office.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys with Rev. Jon Exman officiating; where the family will receive friends from 9:00 am – 11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Botkins Cemetery in Celina, Ohio.
