Helen L. Gehm, age 91, of Rockford, Ohio, passed away at 12:54PM on September 1, 2014 at the Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford, Ohio. She was born on March 18, 1923 in Van Wert County, Ohio to the late Daniel & Rosetta (Drury) Shivley. On January 12, 1946 she married Jerome Gehm who passed away September 18, 2003. Survivors include: 2 daughters: Rita & Rich Werst, Celina, Ohio; Theresa Berry, Celina, Ohio; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister: Dorie Bollenbacher, Rockford, Ohio. Preceded in death by: 1 granddaughter; brothers: Edward Shivley, Cleo Shivley & Emmet Shivley; sisters: Elnora Mosier, Ethyel Johnson, Edith Hopkins, Ilo Steman, Ruby Shivley, Zelma Rader & Omah Davis. She was retired from Huffy & was a homemaker. Helen was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Rockford, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Rockford, Ohio, Rev. Catherine Costello, officiating. Burial will follow UCC Cemetery.
