Burk or Blue Beard as he was known in the trucking community proudly drove his truck for 47 years and he loved every day of it. He drove for many different companies throughout his career but he started at Schroyer Trucking in Celina, then for a few years he owned and operated Burkheimer Trucking and eventually retired from Tuente Trucking in Yorkshire, Ohio.
He was a lifetime member of the NRA and a true believer. He loved to go shooting with his family, watching NASCAR, The Ohio State Buckeyes and any western tv shows and movies. Some of his past hobbies included snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle and camping. Burk loved being with his family and watching the grandkids grow. Above all other things Burk and Vickie loved spending time together and traveling on quick overnight trips to a “pick a direction excursion.” They treasured their time together and hardly ever did anything apart. They were blessed to build such a wonderful life together.
