Dortha “Dee” Y. Bennett, age 75, of Celina, Ohio, peacefully passed away at her residence on September 1, 2024. Born on June 28, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, Dee was the cherished daughter of the late Royce M. and Gladys J. (Lorton) Bennett.
Dee shared 30 wonderful years with her life partner, William “Bill” H. Miller, who preceded her in death. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness, deeply felt by all who knew her.
For many years, Dee was a familiar face at Molly B’s restaurant in Celina, where she worked with dedication and care until her retirement. Her welcoming spirit extended beyond work, as she was an active member of several local organizations, including the Celina Moose, Celina American Legion, Celina Eagles, and Celina VFW. In these circles, Dee was known not just as a member but as a beloved friend and confidante.
In honoring her wishes, private services will be held at the convenience of the Bennett family.
