Dorothy M. Linn, age 93, of Celina, Ohio passed away at 5:45PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at The Gardens in Celina. She was born on August 1, 1921 in Celina, Ohio to the late Leon V. & Mary C. (Coil) Pond. On December 2, 1941 she married Roma J. Linn, who passed away August 8, 2006. Survivors include: sons: Robert L. & Joyce Linn of Celina, Ohio; Frederick J. & Charlotte Linn of Berne, Indiana; Randy & Paula Linn of Rockford, Ohio; daughters: Patricia Ann & Harold Shaffer of Rockford, Ohio; Betty & Paul Borger of St. Henry, Ohio; 11 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; sister: Evelyn Carpenter of Celina, Ohio. Preceded in death by son: Arlie Linn; sisters: Betty Konz; Mary Ford; brother: William Pond. She graduated from Celina High School in 1939. She was a homemaker & worked at Brookhart now Celina Group. Dorothy was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and was past President of her WELCA Women’s Group at the Church. She loved her Lord & showed his love for others by crocheting lap robes, prayer crosses & squares for whoever needed comfort, she also crocheted many baby layettes for those in need. Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Church with Rev. Jeff Gramza, officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8PM Friday at the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina & 1 hour before the Services on Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church.
