Darlene Sue Salisbury, 66 of Celina, passed away Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 8:50 am. She was born June 1, 1949 in Celina to Lester and Nina (Harter) Germann, both preceded her in death. Darlene married Anthony R. Salisbury on March 19, 1966 and he preceded her in death on December 6, 2003.
Survivors include a son, Lester B. (Brenda) Salisbury, Rockford; a daughter, Dawn M. (Fred) Roof II, Celina; two brothers, Ernest (Betty) Felver, Rockford, and Robert Felver, Celina; two sisters, Delight Fox, Rockford, and Irene Germann, Celina; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and three step great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gary Fox.
Darlene had worked at Huffys in Celina for 25 years and retired from Adams Memorial Hospital Decatur, IN in 2014 after 15 years of service.
She was a member of Mount Tabor Church of God, Celina and NMLRA, Friendship, IN.
Darlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be missed deeply by all.
Visitation hours will be from 2 -4 pm and 6 - 8 pm on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am on Monday, February 1, 2016 in Mount Tabor Church of God, Celina, with Pastor Tim Hollinger, officiating; where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at St. Pauls United Church of Christ Cemetery, Rockford, OH.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, Ohio.
