Chad R. Rammel, age 33, of Celina, passed away during the morning hours of July 31, 2021 from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born on August 9, 1987 in Coldwater to Richard “Ralf” Rammel and Brenda (Behm) Weitz. On May 24, 2020, he married Nicole (Mckissack) Rammel who survives at their residence in Celina.
Chad is survived by his loving family; parents: Ralf Rammel and Brenda & Jim Weitz; wife: Nicole Rammel, children: Isaiah Rodriguez, Chase Rammel, Jaelyn Rammel & Liam Rammel; siblings: Josh Highley, Jennifer Hoelscher, Jessica Rammel, Christopher (Amber) Pasada; step-siblings: Jimmy (Lorie Harrod) Weitz, Justin (Kiley) Weitz & Tyler (Chrissy Hall) Weitz; grandmother, Nancy Behm; mother-in-law, Nina McDaniel and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jamie Rammel, and grandfather, Ed Behm.
Chad was a 2005 graduate of Celina High School. He worked as a self-employed CAD Programmer and worked for EDC Machining.
Chad loved spending time with his family and friends. He was known as an “outdoorsman” and the “grill master”. He truly loved being outdoors; either fishing, camping, kayaking, bicycling, racing RC cars or his most recent interest that included longboarding. Chad also enjoyed computers and building computers as well as spending time at his grandparents’ farm, which included riding four-wheelers, shooting pool, and just hanging out. He was taken from this Earth at a young age and will be truly missed by all.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Friday, August 6, 2021, from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Homes in Celina.
