Brian R. Eischen, age 43, of Columbus, Ohio passed away after a battle with cancer on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at his residence. He was born July 4, 1978 in Celina, Ohio.
He is survived by his parents, Robert J. and Lynn (Fisher) Eischen, Celina; a brother, Andrew Eischen, Burkettsville; maternal grandmother, Hilda Fisher, Celina; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death are his paternal grandparents Arthur and Erma Eischen; and his maternal grandfather, Thomas M. Fisher.
Brian was a 1996 graduate of Celina Senior High School. He worked as a server and trainer at Texas Roadhouse in Columbus. He was very active in charity fundraising and most recently he spearheaded a fundraiser for The Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation. Brian also enjoy sport and loved watching The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Brian fought cancer until the very end like a champ. He was a tough cookie, strong, brave & never showed his pain. He will be remembered for his great love, kindness, cherished memories, and his strength through it all. He will forever be loved and missed.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Cisco Funeral Homes in Celina.
Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S., officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am – 10:15 am at the funeral home Wednesday morning.
Memorial contributions can be made to The Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation and / or St. Jude Childrens’s Research Hospital.
