Anna May Rankin

Anna May Rankin, age 92, formerly of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in Springfield, Ohio. She was born October 25, 1927 in Butler, Indiana to the late Truman F. and Goldie M. (Jenks) Hultz. On May 15, 1948 she married Willard O. “Bill” Rankin and he survives in Springfield.

Other survivors are a son Jack G and his wife Christina Rankin of Troy, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Anna had been a private secretary at International Harvester Co. in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She and her husband established and owned Rankin’s Store in downtown Celina from May 1955 to July 2002.

She was a member of Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Celina.

Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, the Rev. Allan Brown officiating. The family will receive friends for 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm prior to the funeral.

Private graveside services will be held at Butler Cemetery in Butler, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
